  1. I can’t believe someone could built one of this in the back yard! But why not? The playful spirit of the human being sees no limits 🙂

  2. It’s endeavors like this that occasionally help renew my faith in humanity. Go you! Though I agree with everyone else: Where’s the video?

  3. It sure seems nice to have unlimited resources and free-time. Me personally, I’d spend it doing something with a point.

  4. Here’s a guy with way too much time and money and an imagination to match those… Good on you dude.

Although, all I can picture is some guy saying ‘hold my beer and watch this.’

  5. rock out man definately ging to invest in making one of these some day thx 4 inspiration. keep it up

  6. You know what else is cool? Going to a park where they have pre-built rollercoasters that are way better. But if that’s what he wants to do with his time, good for him. I could never pull it off.

  7. Dad – son, this is your lucky day
    Son – really dad?
Dad – oh yeah, i got high enough that i think i know i can build a roller coaster!
Son – thats awesome dad, i think i know i love you!
Dad – Yeah I know I’m dad of the year for this, lets just not make it high enough so when it falls it doesnt kill u !
Son – I Love You DAD!

    next fall:

Priest – We have gathered here today to remember Son, beloved kid whos only dream was to go to sixflags in California, and even tough he never made it, he still managed to die with a smile on his face right before his HOME MADE ROLLER COASTER CRASHED AND COLLAPSED ON TOP OF HIS SMASHED BRAIN!!

Ghost Kid Hunting the backyard – THANK YOU DAD!

  8. I don’t understand why some people are so opposed to the idea of somebody having a hobby. Some people paint, some people draw, some people make cardhouses or models of buildings out of toothpicks, So why not a working roller coaster in your backyard.

I love the idea of doing something like this single handed. Good on you man!

  9. I think it’s great, and it’s obviously well built. Those curves are beautiful. Anyone who thinks this coaster is anywhere near as dangerous as the average travelling carnival ride isn’t very bright. I would have no problem riding on that coaster with my two-year old son. No “point.” I guess everything’s relative, but there seems to be a pretty clear point here: FUN.
